Understanding Custom, Made-to-Order, and Ready-to-Ship ItemsUpdated 19 days ago
What’s the difference between custom, made-to-order, and ready-to-ship products?
We offer a mix of product types, and each follows a different processing timeline. Here’s how they work:
Custom Items
Custom items are bracelets where you select or personalize elements, such as:
- Choosing a word
- Adding engraving
- Selecting specific design details
These items are created specifically based on your selections and are final sale.
They follow a longer processing timeline before shipping.
Made-to-Order Items
Made-to-order items are pre-designed styles that are assembled after your order is placed.
Even if you do not select any customization, these items are not pre-made inventory. Instead, they are created for you once your order is placed.
Because of this, they typically follow the same processing timeline of a custom item.
Why this can feel confusing:
We understand that if you didn’t customize anything, it may feel like a standard item. The key difference is that made-to-order pieces are still produced after purchase rather than pulled from stock.
Ready-to-Ship Items
Ready-to-ship items are:
- Pre-made
- Already in stock
- Packed and shipped quickly
These items have a shorter processing time and will reflect faster delivery dates at checkout.
How do I know which type I’m ordering?
The most accurate way to understand your order timing is by reviewing:
- The estimated delivery date at checkout
- Any cart or product page notes about timing
These reflect the exact timeline for your specific order.
Why does this matter?
Each product type has a different production process, which directly impacts how quickly it can ship.
We always aim to be as transparent as possible so you can choose the option that best fits your timeline.
